MAV partners met for the their fourth transnational meeting in London. The meeting was held February 12th and 13th at the Royal Overseas League. The meeting focused on the elaboration of MAV online learning materials for trainers and migrants. The online courses will help trainers to acquire new concepts to motivate adult learners to serve as volunteers for migrant and refugee intergration. A second set of materials will help migrant volunteers to become mentors for their peers.
During the meeting in London, partners agreed upon to use Moodle as technical backbone for their MAV online learning platform. Another format, which was used prior to this decision, was too technical and not flexible enough for the needs of the MAV groups of learners. The new technical framework also allows to present the online learning materials in an attractive format appealing to the learner.
Currently partners are working on content for the MAV online learning courses. This process is lead by the Greek project partners. All materials are expected to be available as of the end of March. They will be uploaded on the platform in April, will be refined and adapted and will be ready for piloting as of May 2019.
During the meeting in London, partners also agreed upon dates for multiplier events and a final conference to be held in Stuttgart in September 2019. Additional materials for dissemination and networking were agreed upon.
